Here is a list of the major changes:
- Preamble / Article I / Article III / Appendix II: Minor wording improvements.
- Defined Terms: New definitions added for clarity.
- Article II:
- Simplified wording.
- Removed the Budget info action requirement for treasury withdrawals.
- Removed outdated provisions (e.g., DRep/SPO Codes of Conduct).
- Appendix I:
- More precise definitions.
- Fixed typos and inaccuracies.
- Aligned with Article II changes on treasury withdrawals.
Motivation
The current Constitution has six key issues:
1) Typos and inconsistent spelling
2) Redundant and unclear wording
3) Vague or missing definitions
4) Unused provisions (e.g., DRep/SPO Codes of Conduct)
5) Unnecessary budget requirement for treasury withdrawals
Rationale
We addressed these issues as follows:
1) Fixed typos and cleaned up wording
2) Simplified structure and reduced word count
3) Clarified key definitions
4) Removed unused or outdated clauses
5) Removed the budget requirement for treasury withdrawals
