About PING
PING is a free, real-time paddle game in your browser. Every mode can be played for free, with no download and no wallet. Playing for $ADA, $SNEK or $NIGHT is always optional: paid Head-to-Head, paid tournaments, paid private rooms and paid events are kept separate from free play.
Play vs AI over a full match, or Sprint to 3. Five difficulties, Rookie to Apex. Beating Apex over a full match earns the gold paddle. In Target Practice, the far wall is sealed, so the ball always comes back — hit targets and keep it alive. In Breakout, a wall of bricks guards the far side; break a gap and get the ball through. The Gauntlet is nine bosses, each with its own trick — beat one to unlock the next, and the last is Apex. Head-to-Head is real opponents, ranked, and it earns Ping Points. Tournaments are 4, 8 or 16 players, single elimination. Private rooms let you share a code or invite friends to a 1v1 or a bracket, always unranked, with chat while you wait.
Where you hit it decides the angle: the edges send the ball sharp, the center keeps it flat, and flicking through contact bends the return further. The ball speeds up all rally — every paddle hit adds pace. The gold domes are the whole game: two domes sit mid-court, clip the crown and the ball comes straight back, catch the edge and it caroms off at a new angle. First to 7 — win by 2 in overtime. Ranked from your first match, guests included.
For paid play, your entry fee goes from your wallet into a Cardano smart contract, never into a PING account — the contract alone decides where it can go. If a match never completes, both entry fees come back: the refund is a permissionless path written into the escrow contract itself, claimable about 24 hours after the entry fees lock, and anyone can trigger it. Online matches are run by the server, which simulates the ball 60 times a second and has the final word. There is no PING token: Ping Points live in your account, not on chain, earned from matches, daily and weekly challenges, achievements and the season track, and spent in the Shop on paddle skins, trails, auras, emotes, arenas and serve voices — everything cosmetic, and nothing you can earn or buy changes how the ball plays. PING is available in nine languages, with colorblind paddles and Play from the right, on any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer.
