About Vendano

Vendano is a mobile Cardano light wallet designed for “regular people”: fast to learn, easy to use, and built around real-world payment moments. The iOS app focuses on a simple wallet experience that makes it easier to send and receive ADA without feeling like you need to be a crypto expert. Vendano’s long-term goal is to help Cardano work for everyday commerce and for people who are underserved by traditional finance, with a specific emphasis on remittance use cases, unbanked-friendly onboarding, and localized content that helps new users understand what they’re doing (and why) in their own language and context.

On the roadmap, Vendano is building “scan to pay” flows (QR/NFC-style experiences where possible), so paying a person or a merchant can feel as normal as any modern mobile payment app. Future merchant-facing features include receipt printing integrations (Bluetooth receipt printers) to support small businesses and pop-up retail without requiring a complex POS setup. Vendano also plans to introduce ADA-backed gift card flows, a bridge product that can help onboard new users and make Cardano usable in familiar formats (gift cards, prepaid-style balances, or simple codes) while still connecting back to on-chain value.

Vendano is building toward a wallet that feels approachable today, but scales into practical, global utility tomorrow: payments, gifting, education, and remittance — with a strong focus on usability, safety, and trust.
